The staff stuck to me having to pay the fee and hid behind the Expedia intermediary Mikki Travel that the booking went through. So I am now in the process of waiting for Expedia to decide whether to refund £13 for parking. And the hotel is still listed as Travelodge...

"I spent the night at the Travelodge High Wycombe Central while attending a workshop at the nearby Bucks New University. The facilities while not first rate offered value for the money spent, the bed was OK, the room was clean, and I felt secure. The location though in the center of town were pretty quiet and allowed for good sleep. The view from my room wasn't anything to write home about, but this was understandable. The food at breakfast was typical English fare and the staff I interacted...
