"The diner on the property was very good for breakfast. Unfortunately, it closed at 5 so we didn't get to eat supper there. It is an older hotel but has been kept up with. The bed was comfortable and the room and bathroom were clean. It was a big room with a balcony. They accommodated a late checkout for us."

"The lodge was very cute and quaint. It was nice and quiet and the area is surrounded by beautiful redwoods and coastal foliage. The price was fair and you are within walking distance of most amenities. There is a grocery store, gas station, and italian restaurant within 2 blocks. And multiple other restaurants within a 1/4 mile radius of the lodge. I would definitely stay here again. Also the Santa Cruz boardwalk is only a quick half hour drive away."

"Overall, the little cabin at Masood’s Lodge was quaint and fairly well kept. Lots of areas set up to enjoy outside location. However, the linens or mattress in the bedroom smelled absolutely terrible (not sure if mattess had been vomited on at some point—there was no mattress pad on the bed to protect it) and did not want to use it. That is what ruined the stay for me. Everything else was fine."
