"A comfortable and clean hotel. We booked 2 rooms for our friends and we enjoyed our stay in Borgarnes. The Settlement House was in walking distance and had an excellent dinner. One of our rooms didn’t have a teapot to use with the instant coffee and tea but the manager brought one right up when we called. Our rooms were located right over the hotel bar and it got quite noisy with karaoke but that was my only concern. Otherwise a nice place to stay."

"This is a former Postmans Station House near Borgarnes. Lovingly renovated according to plans and photos. I was the only one there and I loved everything about it! The breakfast was self-serve and abundant. There is a Bonus and Netto in town if you want to make your own dinner. Be aware there is no microwave. My room included an enSuite, a table and chairs, and multiple beds (I only used the single twin). I spend three nights, which was enough to go to explore the area and take a few hikes. Loved staying here!"

"One. Of. The. Best. Hotels. In. Iceland. You MUST stay here. A bit of a drive off the ring road, but it is well worth it. The staff are outstanding. The food is delicious. The rooms are spacious. And the outdoor hot pool and view is out of a magazine. I will tell everyone I know who is going to Iceland to stay here. "
