"The hotel and the grounds were full of character. The bathroom was incredible. However, the issue was the noise. Needs some serious sound proofing. The room was above reception and was incredibly noisy. Also, the room lacked services considering the price per night. Limited drinks available, and had to ask for bathrobes. "

"We called ahead to ask if we could check in early so we could change to go to a wedding. They weren’t able to get the room ready but did let us in before it had been cleaned so that we could change. The family room had 2 bedrooms and suited our needs really well, and would suit most families. The room decor was a little tired but clean and all in good working order. "Friendly and welcoming"

"It is a bit of a mixed bag review - the staff and catering were good but the accommodation is not as shown on the web site - the room was small and the bathroom smaller yet. a cupboard in reality. the carpet leading to the bedrooms needed a good clean or replacement which made the whole place look scruffy and dated yet the bar and restaurant quite cosy."

"lovely stay in a self catering apartment, well equipped with every thing you require. A well stocked shop 2 doors away. room was very quiet even though it was above the pub. i would stay here again. host were very polite and got us checked in quickly. "
