"This is a great base for Big Bend roaming. We were ok on the unpaved road in our van but those not used to it may want a suv/crossover/truck. This is glamping- not 5 star hotel- everything in the room is outfitted as such. It was the perfect mix of comforts and still getting that outdoorsy feel. We saw deer, ringtail cats, javalina, lots of quail & roadrunners. The views are lovely & the food was good. "
