"The Desert Quail Oasis was just that... a great spot to relax after hiking and exploring in Big Bend National Park. We loved sitting on the porch watching a lightening storm in the distance as well as the lovely mountains all around. After a much needed rain, it was fun to see a covey of desert quail running around the property! The place was very clean and the beds were comfortable. Our only complaint is that the water doesn't smell very good. Water is such an issue in this desert environment....

"Enjoyed our stay early in the week (Tuesday -Thursday) and it was perfect space for me and two teenagers. It was great to come back to the tiny house to unwind after a long day of exploring West Texas. And Carla was responsive to any questions and even came to help us out when we had put the code in backwards to open the door and we started having issues to get it to unlock. She quickly replied to us and was there in a jiffy to help us with the door one evening. "

"House was an absolute pleasure and I would definitely stay here again. It is exactly what was needed for 5 adults and 2 kids spending a week. The only downer to the stay is we got hit by one of the worst dust storms I'd ever seen (and I'm originally from ELP) so the backyard ended up covered by dust 2nd day in. And since we were not left with any effective way to clean it, we were never able to enjoy the beautiful amenity. "
