"Wonderful experience staying at the Milner in York. The staff are so friendly and welcoming and the hotel is beautiful and exudes a calm and tranquil vibe. "I wouldn’t normally leave a review but feel this needed mentioning. We turned up to find a group of 5/6 people waiting to check in. The woman behind reception had walked out in a huff and left them waiting there for some time and when she finally returned, she refused to check them in. She asked us if we wanted to check in before them purely out of spite, to which I replied no I’m not jumping the queue as did the people 3rd in line behind us.
