"Large hotel on the seafront with a lovely view of dolphin pods swimming past as you enjoy a lovely breakfast on the terrace restaurant. The room was good and had a nice view of the sea. The restaurant inside was a bit sluggish. It took ages to eventually get our room. Good location though for the V&A and Cape Point."

"Stayed for 12 nights in the deluxe room on the top floor at the back of the property. Found the room to be of very high standard very spacious and very well equipped with more than adequate air conditioning. "The Hotel was lovely and with a big attention for details. We got a cozy and big room with a privat garden. The stuff was amazing : both shifts: Domingos and Sheley were Fantastic and very helpful and kind. We love the place and the vibes and the hotel Is basically walking distance form everything. We walked twice to the Waterfront Mall and we felt safe all the way and enjoyed a pleasant walk. We also meet the German owner who was very kind and warm. We will come back cause CPT is amazing. "

"Can’t recommend this hotel enough. We had such a lovely stay. The rooms were huge and the balcony was a huge added plus. Everyone working there was so friendly and went out of their way to help us. The location is beyond perfect- it’s super safe and walkable to the V&A and Oranjezicht market. Some reviewers negatively compared it to the neighboring Queen Victoria hotel, but we actually preferred how close the Dockhouse is to the pool area. We’ll definitely stay again on our next trip to Cape...

"Just a lovely place to stay. My only complaint was that the food menu was very limited, especially since I didn’t want a 6 course meal. Options were limited and cobbled together 2 appetizers as a meal. Otherwise, it was a very nice experience. "

"Great welcome quick check-in and complimentary upgrade to Mountain View! Rooftop bar is a bonus and nice place to chill. Would highly recommend the hotel and a great location too!"

EXCELLENT STAY!!!

"This was a great hotel experience. Everything from the front desk reception to the comfort of the bed was wonderful. I love the modern decor of the hotel. All of the hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and clean. There was no outside noise from the city. I would definitely stay here again. Everything was perfect, but I have only two complaints: 1) the hotel does not provide wash cloths or face towels in the rooms. They only provided bath towels and hand towels. I had to call and request the face towels, but housekeeping brought them immediately. 2) The bath towels were full of lint, which left dust all over the bathroom and lint all over my body. See pictures of the dust in the bathroom."
