"This was a good location for getting around downtown Cape Town. It was easy and inexpensive to use Uber to go to places that were a little farther away. The hotel does not have a concierge so we had to figure out a lot of things on our own. The bed was a little hard, and the pillow is very flat."

"I love the repurposing of old buildings, and The Old Foundry has done this with great practical and aesthetic execution. The room was small, but we knew this when we booked. It had all the amenities we needed, including Africology products in the bathroom. The breakfast was excellent and the staff friendly, helpful and responsive to every need. "

"We stayed in the hotel twice, with a brief trip to Safari in between (the hotel was happy to hold one bad in between which was much appreciated). It's a very well located hotel, so close to some fantastic bars, coffee shops and restaurants (Rosetta Roastery, Nikkei & Clarkes particular local highlights for us). The rooftop bar and pool is a lovely spot to watch the sun go down. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and we would happily return."
