The courtyard beer garden is very characterful! The staff were all young and cheerful and the food was phenomenal! Do go for their recommendation of house beers - Arkell's Brewery, very good brew. "The hotel and room where excellent. Staff were all very friendly, room was spotless and the hotel is perfectly situated for all that Bristol had to offer. It was within walking distance of the SS Great Britain, the docks area, Clifton Bridge and the town centre. Alternative buses were very frequent and a bus stop was 20 yards away. The only issue would be the cost of the breakfast but overall excellent. A***"
