"Spent three nights here over my birthday and so we could see the Illuminations. This is a really lovely, traditional style hotel and we loved every minute of our stay. We had the Dinner, Bed and Breakfast deal and the meals were really good, with a nice choice of dishes. Overall great value for money and I'd reccommend this place highly."

"Second time we have enjoyed a pre Christmas break at The Belsfield and we are already planning a return. The hotel was tastefully festive and very inviting. This down to the hotel itself and the efficient and friendly staff. We had a 1st floor room overlooking the lake and the room was of a good standard. It was comfortable clean and the shower was outstanding. Breakfast was excellent with bags of choice and we also enjoyed an evening meal at the hotel. Well cooked, great value for money and served with a smile. Already looking forward to our next visit👍"

"Great hotel, fabulous staff, and a very good Spa. Perfect location in Bowness. You are exactly where you want to be. The bedrooms are comfortable but a bit tired. The TV in the room we had was tiny given the cost of the room. Brewfast is good but a little bit stingy when it comes to the full english. 1 sausage, 1 radher of bacon, 1 egg, 1 plumb tomatoe, a small portion of beans, 1 hash brown and half a breakfast mushroom. Half a mushroom! I am not kidding. Whoever thought of that cost saving measure should hang their head in shame! For a hotel that isnt cheap, that takes the mickey. That said, will we go back? Almost definitely!"
