"The hotel is in an ideal position for the shops and train station. We had a last minute booking as our train was cancelled and the staff were very helpful. The hotel is a little dated but its lovely and the rooms have lots of nice little touches in them, we had a family room and there was even little rubber ducks in the bath. We had an evening meal and I've got to say its the best meal I've had for a long time. "

"Had a lovely 2 night stay. Room was fab. Only thing i would say is the shower wasnt very hot, tried all settings but it never got red hot. Entertainment was brilliant. We had 2 meals in rolys and really enjoyed. Breakfast was also really good. "

"Friendly and helpful staff. Cheap parking. Great breakfast. A/C & heating was not obvious to control to heat heat and would often switch entirely off even while we were in the room. Evening food was a bit disappointing."

"The room was amazing, super comfortable and had all amenities. The owners were extremely nice and accommodating of additional requests (we wanted to keep our bags at the hotel after checkout for a few hours) and they arranged everything. The location was great, with buses running from in front of the hotel and a row of restaurants right down the road. The lake is within walking distance as well. Will definitely return :)"

"Stayed for 1 night to see the illuminations. Hotel is opposite a tram stop so really handy. There is parking to the side of the hotel as well as on the prom, we got a space which was great. The pool is quite small and shallow but the kids had loads of fun in it. Would stay again."

"The hotel is inconspicuous on a dreary day but has double doors from the bar to the street so would be lovely on a summers day. The rooms are spacious and the bed was really comfortable. The bathroom was fitted with a lovely modern shower and the vista was straight out to the Bay (which was sadly freak and dreary). One lady (Margaret) was amazing. She checked me in and made sure I was happy with everything. Then after I went to my room I went to the bar and was being served pints by Margaret...

"Hotel is in a rural location only a few miles ftom windernere staff ate always realmy frienfly and so helpful. Its alwayscso clean and food is always excellent. Will definately go back. "
