"Hotel 1898 was a lovely stay. The location is convenient and the hotel was clean and comfortable. Despite the busy street below, it was quiet and the multiple layer curtains kept out all the light for a comfortable night rest. The view from the rooftop was incredible. The spa was also fantastic! I highly recommend this hotel. "

"Hop on hop off bus stop was right at the hotel. Food court with very nice restaurants was about 20 minute walk from Eurostar Marina hotel. La Rambla & Boqueria Mkt very touristy but fun places are within walking distance. We stayed at Eurostar pre-cruise. It was close to cruise port. I dont suggest walking to the port because you have to cross a very high bridge. I did see people walking it though."

"Avoid rooms 417,418,419,420 - they have no balcony and they face the top of the window arches from the original facade. You have no view when standing. Also they have no separate bathroom - a huge bath tub is in the room next to the beds and the vanities are also not in a separate room"
