"My 2 daughters and I had such a special holiday staying in The Stables, it was everything I had hoped for and more. Liz & Alan made us feel so welcome, they are such lovely people. The cottage was bright, warm, comfortable and had everything we needed and the welcome basket and milk were very much appreciated. The Wharf is such a beautiful base for a peaceful stay with lots of interesting places to visit nearby. Thank you x"

"Lovely little cottage, nestled between fields and the canal with a perfect pub at the end of the drive. Very quiet and peaceful. Small courtyard so the dogs could be outside. Walks along the canal and over the fields. Would absolutely stay again. Our host was perfect!! Warmly recommended "

"Myself and 4 friends stayed here for a 30 year University Reunion with 3 bringing their teenage children. With 8 of us staying, Lee organised to have all the beds and futons made up which was perfect. Lee was really communicative before and during our stay which was great. The house is extremely well equipped with everything you would need for your stay. The location is excellent.
