"Good enough, comfy bed, good breakfast and dinner. Gym is not worth going to and needs expanding x 5 and investment in new kit. For a hotel this size to have a gym with 20 year old kit that fits 5 people is not good enough. Room was quite old fashioned, perfectly good enough and comfy! Need a spruce up I think, but fundamentally I’d happily stay there again. "

The combinations of price, location, and the property made it great. It's not a movement building, but it has charm. "The Grand Canal was very convenient to getting about the main part of town, and its adjacency to the DART made it easy to get to farther points. The variety of food options, from the daily breakfast to the quick coffee/pick-up food/light lunch in the lobby, to the brewpub attached made it very simple and enjoyable to hang out with my travel companions if we were too tired to venture out. The bathrooms were the nicest I saw on my trip, although I would have loved a bathtub for a soak."
