"The Grand Canal was very convenient to getting about the main part of town, and its adjacency to the DART made it easy to get to farther points. The variety of food options, from the daily breakfast to the quick coffee/pick-up food/light lunch in the lobby, to the brewpub attached made it very simple and enjoyable to hang out with my travel companions if we were too tired to venture out. The bathrooms were the nicest I saw on my trip, although I would have loved a bathtub for a soak."

"An excellent location, especially when heading to Lansdowne Road / Aviva Stadium, or the RDS, but also a relatively short walk to the city, or right beside the local rail station. The hotel is in great condition, clean, well maintained and with helpful staff. I didn't try the buffet breakfast as the price seemed a little steep for it."

"Had a lovely stay . Had some issues with our booking , we booked a room with a queen bed and single bed but forgot to include our 2 15 year olds in our booking . On contacting Expedia they requested cancellation and re booking instead of just including them in the booking . The price had changed significantly. It was quite annoying and took us 2 hours to sort , in the end the hotel itself kindly looked after us and not Expedia ."
