"Excellent idea to stay here for a night in Brighton. Right on the seaside in a convenient location. A 10 minute walk to the Royal Theatre and a 5 minute walk to The Lanes with all of its dining and drinking options. A lovely breakfast too. Parking is 29 pounds extra per day but is located right under the hotel. The staff were lovely too. My son and I enjoyed ourselves here."

"This is an old fashioned, quaint hotel with immense charm and history. If you like modern business hotels, this is not for you. It's quirky, pretty, slightly eccentric and very English. Great value if you like that sort of thing. I love it."

"This hotel is huge. The main foyer is brand new and gorgeous with bar, restaurant and swimming facilities. The rest of the hotel is a bit older. The room is an okay place to stay. The sheets are clean and the bathroom usable. But the floors did feel perpetually dirty underfoot. It's worth the money to stay and I enjoyed the experience. "
