"Excellent location. Close to bus station and in the heart of Old Town with amazing shopping and restaurant options. Best part of hotel was the very friendly and helpfuf staff. I arrived early and my room was not ready so my luggage was stored and I was given a tag to retrieve. I had a lovely walk in the area and when I returned, my luggage was already in my room, which was wonderful because there is no elevator/lift. I cannot say enough about the kind and helpful staff! "Room was in excellent condition. We didn’t use the restaurant, it was close to the centre. Unfortunately we received an email the day before arrival informing us there was works going on which meant the car park wasn’t available, which was one of the reasons we booked this particular hotel. There was a car park 200 yards down the road that was cheaper to park in than the one they recommended."

"This is good hotel, a bit off the beaten path in terms of the old village and the lake but both about a mile away. The room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. Nothing fancy - just a nice place to spend the night after sightseeing all day. The service at the hotel was excellent. The staff is friendly and helpful and go out of their way to help you out. I rented a a great e-bike from the hotel at a good price with none of the lines and hassles of renting them on the lakefront or in the village....

"Don’t listen to the bad reviews. We stayed here thinking this would be one of the lower end hotels visited during our trip to Europe and honestly we liked it as one of the best. Our room was very clean and tidy, smelled fresh, view was nice, area was easy to catch the bus into town, the staff were helpful. Only downside is it’s a bit of a walk into the old town but we knew that when booking and the nighttime walks felt unsafe so we took the bus instead. Otherwise would stay here again. "

"This property is well located. The reception area is very welcoming and cosy. The room is a good size with sufficient room for luggage. We love the breakfast, not elaborate but plenty adequate. We love the staff. Very helpful, always with a smile. Glad we found this place. "
