"Our stay at the Leela was wonderful. The staff were very pleasant and accommodating. Our room was very comfortable and the hotel is beautiful. I especially loved the flower arrangements. The driver from the airport was very accommodating. The buffet was diverse and very tasty. I will highly recommend. Security made us feel very safe. "

"I really enjoyed this hotel after trying to stay with a friend's cousin in Mumbai. It is a bit tired around the edges, there are signs of some wear but it is still a haven of comfort and tranquility compared to the rest of Mumbai. All the staff are extremely nice and helpful. It is some of the guests that bring the tone down. I observed rudeness to staff in the form of yelling, inappropriate attire like appearing to breakfast in pajamas and hotel slippers, ill-behaved children etc. Mumbai itself is not a pleasant experience but that's not the hotel's fault. As soon as you turn the corner from the hotel drive, you are surrounded by the typical filth, noise and squalor that make up most of the city. It is surprisingly quiet for being so close to the airport. I didn't hear any aircraft noise, not even outdoors by the pool. You hear some faint traffic noises there but it's not too bad. I had a room facing the front of the hotel and the street. You could hear the ever-present honking through the window but it wasn't too loud. The food buffets are lavish and varied, bed are super comfortable and the concierge service goes above and beyond. I really enjoyed the gym, steam room and pool. It was worth staying here from a few days to recover from Mumbai's noise and pollution."

"Had an amazing 3 night stay at Taj Mahal Towers in January. Everything about this trip was indulgent, magical and pure luxury. From the blessing on entering the lobby, to the wonderful welcome from Jay at check-in, to entering our room with a view directly to the Gateway to India (it was a pleasure to sit in the room and watch the sunrise through the gateway). The room was modern and clean, the only downside was that our room was opposite the lift but all sea view rooms were on the side of the lifts. We had a very calm and serene breakfast alfresco each morning by the pool and the waiters were extremely attentive. High tea at Sea Lounge was a fabulous experience, with the Indian street food a tasty surprise option. Once again the waiting staff were delightful. Cannot fault anything in our stay and if staying in Mumbai again, the Taj Mahal towers would be my only choice. Thank you to all the team for making our stay unforgettable. "
