"We stayed for just two nights before beginning a train tour from Mumbai to Delhi. Our room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. The food in the restaurants and bars was very good, though I thought overpriced. The hotel is in a very congested part of the city and there are not a lot of convenient dining options nearby, so we found we had to eat at the hotel, no matter the price. I had written about one small item in another review and it seemed every hotel staffer immediately set to make it...

"Beautiful hotel with amazing staff. The rooms are fantastic and so is the pool. The food and service is first class: special mention for Kasuga, Velecia, Aditi and Meenashi. The area around the hotel is great for gifts and restaurants. We had an issue for a couple of days with the noise levels from a large wedding being hosted at the hotel which impacted on the public spaces. However, the hotel responded quickly and well when we raised our concerns. "

"This is a large, opulent hotel with several restaurants and a very helpful staff. They arranged transportation and a tour guide for our custom itinerary with no hesitation. The club level bar area was well worth the upgrade... delicious food served frequently and the wine was good. The service was the highlight, as they will go out of their way to accommodate you, and make sure you are happy. Highly recommend."

"Very clean and modern hotel. Great view of Taj Mahal from our room and the roof! Breakfast and dinner were good. Car to Delhi booked through hotel was very expensive but also very nice and comfortable."

"A comfortable stay with really good food! The 2 bedroom suites are great when you’re traveling with family, as there is a large living area to get together. The only problem we encountered was with extremely loud music coming from an adjoining property. I guess there was very little our hotel could do about that!"

"The staff at Tissa’s Inn were lovely, so friendly, welcoming and helpful and genuinely seem to enjoy their work. The restaurant was equally good with plenty of choice. The chef engaged with customers and was always happy to recommend a dish of the day, either a local Keralan speciality or freshly caught fish. Highly recommended!"
