We did not have a good experience. It felt unsafe. The room beside if us the person had a chair out by the door drinking alcohol and tossing trash off the balcony. The breakfast was an absolute joke.. choice was apple or yogurt! Very run down.

The location of the property is amazing. Walking distance from Old Town and not too far of a drive to Shenandoah National Park. It is a refurbished older hotel. It's a clean property but rooms need some a bit more TLC.

When I wanted a receipt (before check out) the personnel at the front desk said "you'll see it from your third-party account" meaning Expedia, however upon check out, we received it with no problem. Property was clean, well kept. Great pool area, good breakfast. We needed a few things while we were there, they were quick and efficient getting them to us. Good restaurant across the street, DD AND ExxonMobil right next door. Would stay again.

Nice for the value
Overall, the stay was pleasant. Checkin was easy and the staff was efficient and friendly. The price of the room was good for the area, considering its peak season for tourists. The hotel itself is old and rundown, but the bed was fantastic. I checked the mattress for bedbugs and it was CLEAN. The jetted tub was very nice. I did see 2 baby roaches upon checkout, however I do not believe there’s an infestation because I inspected the room upon arrival and saw ABSOLUTELY NO signs of a bug problem. With all that being said it was a nice and comfortable stay. Would stay again.

Old hotel, but the price was right for what we received. A pretty bare bones room. However, it was clean, but a bit of a stale odor. Not overwhelming, but there nevertheless. Front desk was quite accommodating, although I feel it's a little unprofessional to call hotel guests "Honey".

I would never have used the shower, stained or something? Should be addressed. Not that it wasn’t clean, I think? The floors in the room were very clean and the bed was pleasant. The gentleman who gave us our room keys, very friendly.
