"Hotel is in desperate need of a FULL renovation, rooms are small and almost none amenities, breakfast was poor and served in a box. We stayed at room 305, the door dint close completely and we can see the light from the hallway it was disturbing to sleep. If you want to charge your mobile devices there was only one electric plug. No AC and during a hot summer night it was hard to sleep. Basically the only good thing is the location."

"Great location near Sao Bento train station and other nearby attractions within walking distance. Note that there's about 27 steps up to check-in with a lift for handicap only and then a regular lift, albeit small, for floors above that. Porto is built on steep hills, so it requires some energy, with funiculars, etc. to make it easier in some places. Nevertheless, it's definitely a more than worthwhile place to visit for a few days, with side day trips to Guiermaes and/or Braga also...

"From the moment we booked our host was helpful and timely in all communications. The apartment was very spacious and clean, with all that we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. We were able to walk to many places of interest as there are lots of places within a 15 minute walk. We also took trips to the Douro Valley, Braga and Guimaraes. We ate in a few nearby restaurants and did grocery shopping at the nearby Pingo Doce when we ate in the apartment. We thoroughly enjoyed our home away...
