"The Hotel Universal is conveniently located in the heart of downtown and close to Metro, grocery stores and laundry services. Also close to restaurants and beautiful sites. Breakfast quality and value was definitely value for money spent. Staff were friendly and helpful. Only draw back was that the stairs might be difficult for some people as there was no elevator beyond the access to reception."

"Amazing hostel, the staff were so friendly and accommodating! There’s chances to meet up with other solo travellers which is great. The beds are comfortable and have a privacy curtain which is always a great benefit. The only issue I had was that the bathrooms were mixed gender which I didn’t personally enjoy but other than that there were no issues at all. The location is perfect for tourist locations and very close to the metros. In all I would definitely say it is one of my favourite hostels...

"Property was modern and newish, we booked 2 rooms whole floor, hot water ran out at 2 person, other room had a freezing cold shower, no hot water left!!!, Also not enough linen, it was freezing all night only 1 light weight blanket on bed no spare in cardboard, also toilet running all night. Woke up exhausted and uneasy, would not return. Aircon doesn't seam to have heat settling on cold!"
