"The Gun Room was very nicely kitted out. The kitchen had everything we needed. Bedroom was very comfortable and bright. One thing I would say is that the sofa is very small and not very comfortable! There is however a TV in the bedroom for lounging. The outside space is lovely and we had some great weather to enjoy it. We had our dog with us so the garden was great but the road was very busy so for a longer walk we had to go in the car. "

"This small cottage is in a great location, literally a couple of minutes walk into the centre of town, but tucked away in a quiet cobbled side street. Although there is no parking at the cottage, the Little Rodee carpark is about 5 minutes walk away. The cottage was clean and welcoming and had a great quirky charm which we really liked. "We had a lovely time in this beautiful house - there was plenty of living space for the whole group to spread out and we loved having a big group dinner in the grand dining room. The house is old and some niggles are to be expected (minor cobwebs, loose doorknobs, a couple of chipped mugs) and they definitely didn't take away from our love for the place (and shouldn't deter anyone else!)."

The house itself suited our needs and was in a quiet neighbourhood. The house and rooms were of ample size to accommodate 2 adults and 3 children (all under 13)."

"The host was very helpful and friendly. The place is comfortable and had everything we needed. I knew there were stairs but didn't realize they would be as steep as they are, which was only noticed because i recently injured my leg. The entry stoop was unexpectedly high and both of us tripp on it. But everything else was fine and very convenient to bus line, stores and parks. Im glad we stayed there!"

"This is spacious home from home, well equipped and clean. There was excellent communication with the owner who was very helpful. Toys and stairgate were provided for our toddler and the garden was great for outdoor play. We stayed only for 2 nights whilst in the area for a wedding, so cannot really comment on the surrounding area but it seemed very nice from the little we saw. Would not hesitate to recommend"

"The accommodation was very poor standard. The small bedroom had no electricity except for overhead light. Situation of bed meant no access to bedside table in that room. Really unfit for purpose The place felt grubby. Not enough crockery. No basics left eg milk bread washing up liquid. The upstairs toilet blocked on first day and left a voicemail msge to Gary but no reply. Bathroom needs immediate refurbishment. As does kitchen and downstairs loo there was no toilet brush or roll holder All...

"After booking and paying in full the hosts went off grid, not only would they not respond to us, but Vrbo couldn’t get hold of them either. We were left with 3 children and a baby with nowhere to stay, 4 hours away from home. Avoid this host at all costs. Vrbo were equally unhelpful in resolving the matter, telling us to sort our own arrangements out for ourselves (at 5pm!). An incredibly stressful time, would absolutely not recommend these hosts, or Vrbo as a booking platform."

"Only two negatives : Needs black out blinds woke early as too bright. Beds arnt the comfiest , I sleep on a flat bed settee so the crease was in my bad and so uncomfortable and flat/hard & pillows were useless, not comfy On the plus : Clean , modern , bathroom nice and warm (radiator constantly on in there ) . Nice neutral decor . Well equipped kitchen , clean fluffy towels , hairdryer/iron/fan . Host was attentive ,very helpful told us to call if any problems , answered phone every time....
