"Upgraded room was clean and quiet, view of the ocean. Basic room, good tv, desk w/ 1 chair, comfortable bed. Renovation undet way at the hotel did not affect us. Very good included breakfast, better than most."

"Nice facility. Rooms well set up for multi-day stay. Room large and thoughtfully designed with nice desk area, and curtain separating the bed from the couch and work area. The only problem was the bed- lumpy and uncomfortable. We’d be back, except for major concern"

"I liked the location. It has a refrigerator, sink, and stove, so you can shop at Safeway and save a little. The only thing is that it was my first time, and I didn't know that cleaning was once every seven days, and we were there for nine. But at least you can take your towels to the front desk and they'll change them for you. The smell of marijuana in the elevators at night is horrible. But you're close to Target, Safeway, and the San Francisco Ferry. It's a good location."

"Easy access to beach, dining and other shops. Plenty of parking. Easy access to event we were in town to attend. Carpets need cleaning or replacing. I asked for ground floor but had to climb stairs to 2nd floor. No elevator and I'm a senior with bad knees."

"Lovely spot, well supplied, plenty of room for the two of us. Centrally located in Alameda allowing us to walk many places. Very quiet street. The owner lives upstairs and was very responsive and helpful when we had questions. We will be back!"
