There was restaurants shops and grocery within a 1 min walk. The house itself is very charming and had plenty of room for all of us. The place is very clean and well maintained, with modern furnishings and amenities along with a well stocked supply of anything you could need. The owners Jay and Morgan were lovely and communicative. Wonderful location in South Kensington, close to restaurants, shops and the underground. Highly recommend!"

"Ideal for 2 people. Not ideal for lengthy stays for more people as pull-out bed took up the whole lounge. A few issues with power failures so no t.v. but our hosts were lovely and friendly and tried to fix any issues promptly. Location perfect. Close to trains and buses."

Comes with a/c, washer/dryer and stocked kitchen which was great. No lift. Stairwell a little steep and tight so not a perfect option for people with ambulatory issues. "We stayed in this house for Christmas and enjoyed our time. The location is convenient to get to stores, restaurants and the Underground. The previous reviews were spot on, though. The hot water runs out pretty quickly, so we scattered our showers. Also, there had been a previous accident in one of the bedrooms and we spent time trying to clean up the smell. That was disappointing, but we made the best of it. "
