"We had a great stay here!! Perfect location for walking to every place we wanted to visit! Friendly staff although the front desk seemed a bit confusing at times. We asked for a late check out and was told 2pm with no extra charge. But the day of check out the housekeeper was knocking on our door at 12. Then the front desk called and asked when we were checking out and that they would Charge us to stay till 2. Not the end of the world for us but something to mention to others who may need extra...

"1st time stay at the Barbizon Palace, and we enjoyed it. We have been to Amsterdam 10 times so we have stayed at a few different hotels. Great location and the staff was very helpful. Hotel and room we nice and overall 4 1/2 to 5 star quality. Only possible downside is we had a great room on the side street, so it was loud at night till 2am, but they did provide earplugs...lol.. it was a plus..The hotel is is the redlight district amd central to everything. I would stay again.."

"This trendy hotel is an excellent area. The Hilton‘s version of a W. The only problem with that is they don’t do it as well. While the staff and service are excellent… The rooms have odd layouts and a little too “cool” and smart for their own good. You can’t even see the mirror why you’re using the sink. Aside from that the staff is excellent very helpful, everything was clean and comfortable. excellent hotels for solo travelers or a couple. "

"All was fine. Even though we arrived early, checking was prearranged and room was ready before the normal time. Welcoming treats from room service and assistance with electrical converters were great additions on our only night here. "

"Everyone was very hospitable and friendly. They went out of their way to make everything right. The bed was very comfortable. My only concern was that there were no drawers and the bathroom didn’t have my space for toiletries. We ate in the grill restaurant one so. Er and breakfast, very good. We ate at Vanoost and it was an upscale dining experience."

"The hotel is classy with great attention to detail. The bathroom was stunning. Floor to ceiling marble with heated floors and large separate tub. Recommend to use sauna, steam room and pool. Serene. The area around hotel is filled with shopping and restaurants. "
