"garza blanca is in a beautiful location. the hotel is very clean and well maintained. views from hillside buildings/pools/restaurants are stunning. beach is very clean and swimmable. steaks at bocados restaurant were excellent and service poolside and restaurants was very nice. those are the good. now with the bad - layout of hotel is WEIRD. you have to spend 20 mins at least taking trolley up and down the hill because most amenities are on the hillside. there are multiple buildings in the hill...

"The good: great ocean views, awesome staff, good rates The not so good: we were very disappointed with the food at the restaurant. The quality wasn't great, but the worse was that our dishes would systematically arrive late and lukewarm. Also, the hotel is near a fairly busy road and the noise from trucks which decelerate and accelerate on the speed bumps by the hotel entrance is deafening. The noise comes through the bathroom windows directly into the bedroom"

The only improvement that could be made is to make the jacuzzis available to kids because you can’t use the jacuzzi if you have to leave your kid unattended elsewhere. "
