"Beautiful hotel. They arranged some balloons to make our honeymoon special. We got ‘upgraded’ to a garden room for extra charge but room was the same size, with only the tiniest garden area. Not sure it was worth it. Standard room was just as nice. Gym and pool area quite nice and relaxing. Breakfast SUPERB. Location convenient-ish for Kyoto station but next time I’d probably prefer to stay closer to touristy areas like Pontocho alley. The only let down was the concierge service. We only...

"Absolutely beautiful hotel. What I love the most is the private onsen in the room. It's in a semi-open space (not in the room, but under a roof kind of in the back balcony). The private onsen refills itself, and temperature regulated. It was amazing. Beautiful scenery, excellent staff, exceptional breakfast."
