"The private beach was beautiful and convenient. The property is a bit tucked away but that didnt bother us too much. Free daily shuttle to/from Patong Beach. Wide food selection. Spa was amazing. Pools were fun and family friendly. Lots of activities for kids I would recommend having enough clean clothes for your entire stay or get laundry done outside the hotel. "Although I loved my stay at the Avista hideaway I disliked the fact that the hotel did not offer an option for a late checkout. My flight was not until 11pm and checkout was a noon. Upon asking the front desk to at least stay until 5 or 6pm they told me they were going to be at full capacity and then said I could pay 1000 Baht per hour to keep my room. So basically they had the space if I paid but didn’t if we did not pay?…it was very disappointing to experience this at the end of a good stay. "

"I was kindly placed in room 323.I booked a pool side room which was not given. My wife was just happy to be at the Patong Paragon so room 323 was nice. The staff were fantastic and beautiful however some of the guests were rude and inconsiderate to staff which was distressing. I wish all the staff at the Paragon the best. "
