"As regulars, we love the setting and architectural splendour here. The spa is good. The food, however, is disappointing. Breakfast could be improved with quality bread and hotter cooked food. Pastries quite limited and fruit quite basic. We recommend cooking some bacon to crispy, replacing the bread which is the worst we’ve had in a hotel. The stunning lilies in the reception need care as pollen was dropping-it stains any material it contacts "

"Beautiful room with a comfy bed and plenty of space. The hot tub wasn't working when we first came into the room, but the staff were happy to sort it for us. We also ordered pizza and it was delivered to the room free of charge and was tasty, but the breakfast was even better! "

"Fantastic property, so elegantly furnished, beautiful extensive grounds, including outdoor pool. We were so fortunate with great sunny weather, so lunch on the terrace was wonderful. Fantastic breakfast, and all staff were excellent. It was a shame we were only staying for one night. Would highly recommend. "

"The property was outstanding from the room & bed to the Wi-Fi and freshly cooked breakfast. Fresh slices of cake were placed in the room daily, which was a lovely personal touch. The room also had smart TV with Netflix available. The owner was amazing with his knowledge and tips for the tourist attractions, eating out and local sites to see. We had laundry washed, folded and put back in room for a small fee. Would highly recommend this property, I doubt you could find better. "
