"Lovely hotel, in good central village location. Lots of shops, pubs etc nearby. Had a beautiful room with four poster bed. However, mattress was very soft and sagged in the middle, which made for an uncomfortable night. Advertised as kingsize but was really a double. Apart from that room very clean. Good feather pillows too. Restaurant food - very small portions but delicious, although burger dry and hard. Good breakfast selection, but not quite hot enough. Service excellent."

"Once again staff were lovely. Great hotel , everything you need. Close to the centre of Salisbury, 15 minute walk. Parking here £5 a night. Hotel is an older building full of character, near a river. Good breakfast and lovely and warm in all the common areas.
