"We stayed 2 nights in the hotel, the room was a decent size, the bathroom was also a decent size, with a waterfall shower, the water was hot, shampoo, conditioner body/hand wash & body lotion were provided. The breakfast was continental & cooked if you wanted it. The staff were exceedingly friendly & nothing was too much trouble. The Liverbird Building & Royal Albert Dock are about a 10 minute walk away."

"Third time staying, very happy with hotel. Smaller bed and room this time but I think that was because hotel was sold out. I bought 2 cocktails at happy hour which are advertised as £10….so during happy hour 2 cocktails are £15! Oh well. I didn’t realise my 14 year old grandson wouldn’t be allowed in bar after 5pm. Didn’t matter we went out instead. Not sure if I’d come back a 4th time. "

"The main reason for giving a 10 is that the room was excellent. It was a very modern, boutique style room with really comfy bed and luxurious duvet, and the shower was spacious with a waterfall head as well as a separate shower handle. But also, we received a warm welcome from the staff on reception, including a spicy chocolate drink handed to us. "On arrival the room was not an executive room the air con control wouldn't respond due to wear,also the lights in the shower were faulty & the final straw was the safe didn't operate. On complaining the Manager move use to a suite which was exceptional but the only criticism of the suite was a 7 in the morning the downstairs speakers from the restaurant were clearly heard in the room I suppose the £5M upgrade forgot that small item of sound proofing. I certainly would have expected a refund...
