"Great property with a cosy, well stocked/furnished house. Beautiful surroundings and animals to see. Felt like a home from home. A short 15 minutes from Ruthin. The hot tub was heated ready for our arrival. The listing says wood fired but it’s actually an electric one. Limited wood for the wood stove inside, but could be purchased as an extra. "The property was a great base for a short stay in Chester for a family of 5. We were no more than 15 minutes from some of the notable local attractions and amenities. The house itself suited our needs and was in a quiet neighbourhood. The house and rooms were of ample size to accommodate 2 adults and 3 children (all under 13)."

"Absolutely fantastic place , couldn’t fault it if I wanted to . Really peaceful and was great just to sit back and listen to the wildlife . We also went for a walk to the waterfall. I would recommend it to anyone. Jack , the host was also fantastic, he couldn’t do enough for us . Can’t wait to return . "

"My family and I had the pleasure of staying here for 2 nights to celebrate my 50th birthday. The property surpassed all of our expectations and was the perfect setting for a murder mystery night 👻. Everything had been thought about from the provision of toiletries to an abundance of glasses, cutlery and plates etc. There was plenty of room for the 12 of us without feeling that we were in each others way. The only downside being that we only stopped 2 nights."

"Property well located for access to Anfield and Goodison. Guaranteed street parking on match day is nice (well, permit). It is multilevel so be aware of that (and the stairs were a bit steep for my 80 yr old mom ,but she managed). Only thing we would have liked flto see different was the heat to be turned on the day we were arriving since the house was quite cold and took til the morning to warm up (we arrived at night). But would recommend to friends."

"The overall property was good, it had everything we needed for our stay, it was clean and tidy. Great communication from the owner to check we arrived ok and had everything and he was very friendly, offering further support if needed. The street was very tight with parked cars on both sides and in a dead end rd which made the turning around quite difficult for us and we did find it very noisy at night with people coming and going in the neighbouring houses, talking very loudly into the early...

"Myself & my grandsons stayed at this property for 4 nights. The property was perfect for us with 3 good sized bedrooms & 2 toilets. The property was clean.& had all amenities that was needed. I would recommend this property. It was good value for money too."

"The accommodation was very poor standard. The small bedroom had no electricity except for overhead light. Situation of bed meant no access to bedside table in that room. "Wonderful property with all the comforts of home. We arrived to a beautiful basket of goodies and a warm welcome from our host. Julie went out of her way to help us get settled in. We would highly recommend this holiday home if you are planning to visit the Liverpool area. Easy access to the sights of the city and great restaurants nearby. Wish we could have stayed longer! "It was good. Room was dusty and mattress cover didn’t fit properly but other than that it was clean. Room position was noisy due to workmen on roof opposite. Also constant noise of bottles being emptied into bin through the night kept us awake. Lifts were slow and one was out of order for most of our stay. Location was great and close to everything.
