"We had a really wonderful time at Wanosato experiencing winter and snow in authentic Japanese setting. The staff were really welcoming and made our stay special, every detail of our stay was taken care of. We had the half-board with dinner and breakfast included. "It was very close to the castle park and had a number of options for dining nearby, though we walked a bit further out to go to some specific places. The breakfast was in the building next door one of the days with a great view of the whole city. That hotel seemed a bit more luxury, but the room in ours was comfortable and spacious, so no complaints. "

"Staff were incredibly nice and welcoming. Our room was comfy and the private onsen was a dream. Food was amazing-lots of local ingredients, which was great to try. I have seen some complaints about it not being super new, but I feel that's part of the charm of this place. Highly recommend! "
