"Overall, we had an excellent stay here. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. There are decent options for breakfast, but after the 3rd day, it can get a bit monotonous (a couple of different food themes for breakfast would be nice). Has a great view--if you get a room facing the front of the hotel. The gym is FANTASTIC, and the hotel's location is within walking distance to a pharmacy, supermarket, restaurants, and downtown Reykjavik."

"This was a great place. Of note, there is not much in town, and “town” is very small. There’s a grocery store that closes early, a gas station, and maybe 2-3 bars/restaurants, no other shops. But it was a good stopping place between the Thingvellir national park and the snaelfellsnes peninsula. The restaurant seemed like it could be good, it was cute; admittedly we didn’t have time to try it. "The staff was very friendly and accommodating and made us feel welcome as soon as we walked into the hotel. Our room was beautifully appointed, with a towel warmer, full size hair dryer, a sumptuous comforter, rain shower, and even a dedicated make-up mirror. We were extremely pleased with our stay."
