"The hotel is located about a 5 minute walk from Santa Catalina bus station, which is a great way of getting to/from other parts of the island. The area around the elevator on the 14th floor smelled of dampness and mold but there was a sign indicating that they were resolving an issue. Aside from that the hotel and the room were very clean. The room was a good size and had a balcony with an amazing view of the city and the ocean. The fitness centre was small but had enough equipment to work with."

"Great hotel, coulnt find a fault, our room was clean everyday, fresh towels daily, breakfast nice with lots lf options, staff so polite and helpful. Definitely going back! Oh! and the location, it could be better, walking distance to the Mercado del Puerto, plaza de Santa Catalina, bus station, and playa de la cantera, plenty of good restaurants around. "It isn’t a 4 star hotel, the rooms are tiny and basic, no baths, the sink was stained, no water fountains on the floors, vending machine didn’t work, hole in the ceiling in the hallway of block 4, food basic and bland after the 3rd day knew what to expect each day. The staff were polite, friendly and welcoming, rooms were cleaned every day and the cleaners were always polite and helpful, but I will not be returning. The rooms need to be updated."

"We had a great stay at the Gran Canaria Princess resort hotel. Defintely do the all inclusive - the food put out was different everyday and was often themed (mexican, asian etc) with plenty of other choices- the drinks included in the all inclusive were pretty good - beer, wine, prosecco, sangria all on tap or readily available to order as well as all the spirits and mixers. Apparently the all inclusive plus options gets you better top shelf spirits and drinks but the drinks poured in our all...

"We loved this resort! The food was delicious, the alcoholic drinks, coffees, and water on tap was brilliant. I may need to install that at home! the beach shuttle and walk was great, and how wonderful to have free food and drinks on the beach! "Overall a really nice stay. Hotel was clean, staff all friendly and welcoming. The vibe pool bar was very good for food, drinks in the day etc. It's on a hill so is steep to walk back to, but not that bad. Plenty of older couples were managing it fine. Supermarket over the road very handy if self catering or B&B. Plenty of restaurants within walking distance and taxi rank which was handy and cheap. Would recommend "
