"Beautiful surroundings, able to walk freely enjoying the scenery. The property itself was lovely apart from a few mishaps inside the room for staff to consider. Part of the panelling that separated the dining area and living room space was a constant trip hazard, this was extremely dangerous, also the living room radiator was continually on making staying in the room extremely uncomfortable with to much heat. Apart from that the living quarters were good."

"Booked a 2 night stay for a romantic getaway & to explore the surrounding area. On arrival at 2.30 our room was ready which was a nice surprise. We unpacked & went to the spa, it’s very small, only 2 loungers & 6 chairs bu the pool & they were all taken. The jacuzzi was full too so we had a swim, the pool wasn’t very warm & then eventually a few people vacated the jacuzzi so we hoped in, but unfortunately it wasn’t working properly the bubbles when they started were very underwhelming! "Very enjoyable stay after a day’s cycling. Ate in the bar at night - food was fine but not outstanding - service excellent. Breakfast on the other hand was very good indeed. Hotel has a strange layout in that there are no lifts - to get to our room you had to go up approx 15 steps, walk along a corridor, then descend another staircase - very strange and not too welcoming after 4 hours on a bicycle !! "

"Breakfast was high quality and in lovely surroundings. Because hotel was fully booked the room we had wasn't great as it looked out over a kitchen extractor, but the manager kindly moved us to a better alternative!"

"upon arrival Christina was very pleasant and helpful checking us in, we later returned to reception to book breakfast, this is time we were dealt with by Charmain, who was also pleasant and helpful. The Room was clean and comfortable for the 3 of us, we used the pool twice, which was a nice treat to have this downstairs , this too was clean and appeared to be well maintained. Overall a good experience all round, will book again if we need to stay in the area again"
