"A lovely hotel in a great location for the airport, but could be so much better if work was done there. Has great potential. The downstairs is currently a dumping ground which you can see, there’s duck poo everywhere outside and the windows in our room were all misted up from inside the double glazing. Room was big, nicely laid out, noise from airplanes weren’t bad, it’s next to an airport so expected. "

"Pros Staff all very welcoming and helpful. Room was large and clean. I arrived a bit early and was able to get checked in before 3pm Cons the room was so dark and one of the lights wasn't working but honestly would not have made any difference to the darkness. There is nowhere near a plug to sit and blow dry hair and forget it to see to do make up. I found the whole room very depressing. My room was either over a function room or near to pub as there was a constant background thump of...

"This was a quick overnight stay. Location was great, although clearer explanation of parking would help. We were in the annex building and I was really impressed with the size of the rooms and bed. Very clean with excellent facilities."

"I had an experience when l checked in the first day but the Manager Mr Patel managed to sort everything out the next day. He went out of his way to make sure that l was comfortable and catered for on a highest level. My whole experience was the most beautiful , quiet, tranquil and the grounds were just what you need for a break lots of walks if you have time."

"Due to excellent rail service into London we chose Stevenage hotels instead of central London to stay as they were far cheaper. This Holiday Inn is convenient and value for money and just a 5-10 minute walk to the railway station. Trains very frequent and can be in central London within half an hour. Would do again."
