Clean, tidy and basic for a one night stay in London. Bed was comfortable enough for one night sleep but longer would probably not be advised. Good amenities generally. Found staff quite stand offish and cold, bordering on rude but then didn’t have too much contact with them fortunately. A small chat, welcoming smile and generally customer service would go a long way.
Decent place to sleep for the night. Receptionist didn’t seem to have my booking on file (they did but got my first and last name the wrong way around and couldn’t seem to fathom that..!). Otherwise comfy bed, good shower and quiet. Would stay again.
this is good value and it was fine for me. No window in my room but I was only sleeping there. I'd come back but maybe not at the heat of summer

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
Great stay for my night out. Some wear and tear on doors etc, lock on shared bathroom came off and bedroom door was difficult to open and needed a firm push, but overall was comfortable and clean.
For a London hotel, this was a bargain. Okay, so it's not a palatial 5-star posh palace, but it was comfortable for one night. And right next to Hackney Central station. The neighborhood is what it is. Many will like it's edgy feel, but I'm not keen.

Dirty, uncomfortable bed. Small room
Room size was fine although 'large' it was not. Bed was so uncomfortable and under the top sheet the mattress topper underneath was stained and dirty. one thin pillow as well with no spares in the room.
Desk staff were friendly and good but that's where the positives end unfortunately.
Really good place to stay for one night as a solo traveller. Basic en suite and clean. Important for some that some rooms will have no window like mine. Friendly welcome at reception.
All the above, Japanese style, small inexpensive for London, central, eateries all round. Smart accommodation for single or double stay.
Why so many poor reviews, I suspect sabotage!!!
We had a medium room and it was a really good size with a big window, it had air con and the WiFi was good, easy check in and check out and good customer service. My main bit of feedback would be that the pillows weren’t very good, very flat. Otherwise a really good experience!
