"Second time staying here. Room I had didn’t have a window and with the air con only going down to 18 the rooms can be hot and stuffy. Would be good to be able to turn the air on down lower in the summer months. "

"Stayed here when in for an eye appointment at Moorfields (Okd Street/Moorgate). Very easy to get into town, quiet, cool on a summer’s day and pleasant stafff. Would stay here again."

"The property is what you pay for, it lacks the necessities such as no glasses in the rooms and no bins in the bathrooms. The beds were very comfy and clean. Throughout the night it is very noisy and you can hear the people outside and furniture being moved from others staying in the property. Overall it was a good stay "

"Is a good place but those sheets I was hitching there in the night. I wouldn’t trust those sheets on the bed . Privacy zero it’s a hostel what you expect . Receptionist where great but the facilities look broken and hold it’s a fast and convenient place for just 1 night, if you spend more than that it becomes a depressive place . I don’t really know how people live there for months . "

"Lovely stay here, we were upgraded ❤️ We booked a twin room to go and see Pink at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. It was walkable from this hotel. So we had a flat. Only one night but we enjoyed it and an awesome Greek bakery across tye road 👍"

"For budget London accommodation I was impressed with the Forest Gate Hotel. Pros: quiet location, easy walking distance to the tube (Olympic park 2stops away), affordable (for London prices), clean sheets, comfy bed, fridge, microwave, tea and coffee in room. Fire doors and a solid door lock. Shared toilet and showers but they are clean enough, a decent size and will good locks on the door. Staff are friendly and breakfast was simple but a bonus the next day, and was cooked fresh. Cons: it's...

"Bit of a hidden gem. Staff very helpful nothing was a problem. Only downside was shared bathroom but was kept clean and tidy. Would happily stay again"
