"The hotel itself was nice, rooms were clean and staff were polite. Room only had facility for coffee and not tea. We came quite a distance so was not aware of the area, it was great as it was close to where we were visiting, BUT we were unaware that it was in a clean air zone so that cost along with the expensive parking the money started to add up quite substantially. The parking that is for use is a public car park which was awful, spaces tiny and limited height. The car park is also available...

"Excellent stay, however our key cards kept getting deactivated by NEC metal detectors, and we had to keep going down to reception to reactivate them. It would be useful for the entrances to have signs notifying guests that if they have visited the NEC they should get their cards reset at reception before trekking to their rooms."
