"The property was perfect. Staff were very helpful as our first night we arrived at 3am. However our room had a smell of smoke which reception swiftly moved us to an upgraded room. The room was clean and had all the amenities needed. WiFi was down for an evening which was unfortunate but nothing anyone could do. Overall, clean and helpful hotel. "

"Overall a great stay for the family, small areas for improvement, the shower head can be changed to handheld one, so it is easier to shower the kids, also only one aircon for 2 bedrooms apartment can be an issue on hot days, but other than that, a great place. "

"Most staff were friendly, there was one lady who tried to tell me I wasn’t able to use my $50 credit on the room service despite the person over the phone advising that we could was the only disappointing aspect. Staff should be consistent :) Didn’t receive a room upgrade either."

"I visited from the US, so as I was getting acquainted with the change of schedule - I had a couple of late nights. there was always staff available to greet me as I returned from wandering around or coming back in from a bite. very hospitable. super close to fun sites, the city was easy to navigate. when I return (which is inevitable as I’ve fallen in love with Melbourne) I will most definitely be booking with Oaks on William"
