"The VIP Access allowed me free self-parking as well as an upgrade from Junior Penthouse to Penthouse which was a lovely bonus. The place was easy to find and park. There was no need to drive anywhere for dining as there were plenty of options all within 5-10 minutes walking distance. "I put in a request for an early check in via the Hotels.com messaging app. Upon arrival, the receptionist told me that they didn't receive it. I showed them the message in my Hotels.com app (which contained a "we received your message and will get back to you shortly" style confirmation) and she informed me that they don't receive messages from Hotels.com. I find it strange that Hilton and Hotels.com/Expedia - two powerhouses of hotel travel, don't have a working communication system. But...
