"Lovely hotel overall. Room was comfortable and pool was nice. Bar area was great with lots of seats and food was very good - we ate in the restaurant on one night and the bar on another. The only let down was some guy of the bar/restaurant staff. It was obvious that some weren’t wanting to work and were lazy - who brings out a meal with condiments on the side of the plate next to the food!!! Just because she ‘couldn’t carry it’! That’s unhygienic and lazy - take 3 trips if you need to but that...

"a quaint old house in lovely grounds. the room we very well kept as was most of the hotel and grounds. the only slight worry was a pungent smell in the corridor between the bar and the rooms which was quite unpleasant. this was only in the ground floor corridor though, not obvious upstairs or in the room or the main hotel.
