"What a great place to stay! The staff were all very welcoming, friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and comfortable. The only thing I would say is don't leave your windows open at night, the mosquitos will invade!! Other than that would recommend and stay here again. "

"Location was perfect for me as near Alilaguna waterbus stop for airport transfers and other ACTV stops for places i wanted to visit. San Marco area, although busy, is a great place to be based for someone making a first visit to this fascinating and charming city. Lots of shopping outlets nearby, top end and touristy and plenty of choice for meals out. I really enjoyed my stay despite having been the victim of pickpockets on the crowded ferry to Murano. "We loved the San Marco Hotel! It is in a perfect place, convenient to food and entertainment. Breakfast was great, the staff were very accommodating. One thing we loved about the hotel is that it is old, it gave us the feel of old world Venice. If you are looking for a new fancy hotel, this is not the one. It is definitely old world charm."

"Very Central location close to Piazza San Marco without being in the thick of it. Quiet at night but located on well lit street. A clean and comfortable room, air conditioned (needed for the night we were there) Superb breakfast offerings. Excellent customer service. Would definitely stay here again."

"This was the best old world hotel I have stayed at! Just enough modern conveniences to make our stay utterly comfortable. The staff was friendly and always helpful, any time (day or night). Location was fantastic. Enough distance to be restful and close enough to everything to be very walkable. They even provided breakfast snacks to go for our early morning flight!"
