"Our stay for 2 nights in Cardiff was lovely. The hotel was spacious but it would have been good to have a quiet area to sit in during the day. We were going to eat in the restaurant on the night we arrived. However we found the menu rather predictable. However what made us change our mind about eating in was the horrendous noise coming up from the floor below us, the function room we were told. It made the room literally vibrate and it made me a little queasy. "

The cons of the hotel were that the parking was £25, to have a hot shower you had to leave both the shower and bathroom tap running at the same time for around 10 minutes before any hot water appeared in any of the taps and there was no complimentary bottled water in the room.
