"We had a nice stay. The room was good, fairly spacious and clean. Bed comfy. Room decor a bit tired and the separate toilet to bathroom was not great but ok. Bar area was good, food and drink affordable. The only let down really was the chap on reception when we arrived was totally minimal and seemed like he couldn't be bothered. He was not outright rude and he answered our questions but he offered no welcome or information. We had to ask him to tell us how to get to the room, he was not at...

"Fantastic hotel. Very clean very accessible. The whole place is spotless. The reception team are just incredible, so friendly. The rooms are spacious, spotless and the beds are comfy. There's no door slamming in the corridors and the toiletries in the bathroom are high end. "

"My overnight stay was fantastic from check in to check out. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Their attitude shows how proud they are of this Hotel. It is located within a 10 min walk of the city centre. The breakfast had a large selection of both hot & cold options to choose from. I will be staying here again for sure. The staff make this hotel what it is."

"Great as a base for exploring Bakewell, excellent breakfast and relaxing areas for the evening before dinner. Rooms clean and tidy and tasteful decor. Car park very small. We used bridge street and charged £18 for two night stay, you can come and go as you want. Overall a nice break."

Would have been nice to have been told we couldn't use the pool as we were room only at the beginning of our stay as we had planned to go swimming the day after the wedding. The room was very nice with plenty of space. Nice comfy bed. Food was good and the drink was reasonably priced for an update market hotel. The bar staff need to be trained more on cocktails as they didn't know some basic ones. We had to Google it for them. I think it was a Black Russian...
