"We loved the large spacious room & bathroom. Liked the art deco style of the building. It was located in a very convenient location and we were able to walk to shops & restaurants very close by. We drove there but if we had taken the train, it was right next to the station so that would have been very convenient. "

"Overall this is a lovely hotel. The room is great and the bed is the comfiest I think I’ve ever slept in. The shower is excellent and the staff were very friendly. The food and service in the restaurant were five star but the restaurant itself was a little chilly so we had to keep our coats on while we ate. The TV in the room was only picking up a weak signal so it was pixelating all the time and one of the handles on the window was broken and so couldn’t be opened"

"Staff are lovely here. Very friendly and helpful. The hotel itself is getting a bit worn. Our room was very small for a double and very hot. Could not open windows due to city noise (understandable). Marks on the bedding that looked like ink or dye. Pleased that due to having some credit with hotels.com I didn't pay full price. We had a lovely meal in the restaurant and thought the prices were good for a hotel. "
