Missing the basics
£98 for a room, and couldn’t even get a towel of any sort. Checked in late in the evening, warm friendly check in, called reception in the morning who advised they’d be up right away with some towels, 45 minutes later decided to scrap the shower, due to needed to leave for work. Didn’t even ask me how was my stay, just a “I need to check there’s nothing outstanding in the account.

Nice to have a swimming pool although its compact, great steak dinner but quite expensive and a great breakfast cooked and continental buffet ,lovely staff, nice rooms , great comfy bed, easy parking, ev car charging being installed but not operational yet?

nice location, room smelt like an old folks home i mentioned it to reception and they did send house keeping to spray some air freshener got up in the night for a glass of water and only had hot water in the sink so had to go to reception at 3am not great for brushing teeth either. decent hotel just got a bad room I suspect

Regular visitor. Please read
regular visitor, as normal good standard of service. Only slight problem is the temperature of the room, the radiator has no valve to adjust the temperature. Therefore the windows had to be open all night with the fan on. Please see to this defect.

Gomersal 2 night stay
Good: Large spacious room, big bathroom with shower and bath. Breakfast ordered as room service was decent and not too pricey. Friendly staff at reception. Pool was open although I did not get to use it. Covid watch: Masks compulsory around the hotel and hand sanitizer readily available in lobby. Rooms supposedly left for 3 days in-between bookings. .Bad: Only downside was no air-con in the room and only a small window which didn't open very wide and meant the room was dark. The weather was boiling hot and this meant the room was also very warm with no way to cool it down.
